Introduce Yourself: When you join, share a bit about what draws you to "The Pantry." While sharing personal details is optional, offering a sense of your interests or needs can foster connections.

List What You Offer: Whether it's food, skills, or time, describe what you can share. Visual aids or brief descriptions can help others understand and appreciate your contributions.

Fave: Do you have a go-to neighbor that always comes through with what you need? Check the box to keep them at the top of your table.

Ingredients: please select from the list or add new ingredients you currently have available to exchange

Course: What ingredients do you have a surplus of, and which meals are they best for?

Cuisine: What typical cuisine do you cook? Many of our neighbors are homesick, so you may be the answer to that with items they need from a specific cuisine.

Email/Phone Number: This is where people will send you their requests and where you will coordinate an exchange. ( remember, no questions asked 💥)

Needed Now: What are one top priority pantry item you are looking for

Requesting Items:

No Questions Asked: Feel free to request what you need, respecting the principle that asks for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Your privacy and dignity are paramount.

Be Specific: Be specific about your needs to help providers understand how they can best support you.

Offering Goods or Services:

Detail Your Offer: Clearly outline what you're offering, including any specifics about quantity, type, or conditions of use.

Set Boundaries: It's okay to set boundaries around your offers, such as availability times or quantities. Honesty ensures that everyone's expectations are managed respectfully.

Coordinating Exchanges:

Safe Exchange Locations: Whenever possible, use public, well-lit areas for in-person exchanges. If you're comfortable, community centers or shared spaces in your neighborhood might work.

Virtual Coordination: Use "The Pantry's" platform for coordinating exchanges. This helps maintain privacy and safety.
