Here’s what we believe every Pantry initiative needs
- Inventory List Template:
- Purpose: Helps participants keep track of what items they have available to share.
- Features: Categories for different types of items (e.g., food, clothing, household items), quantity, condition, and any notes on availability or specific sharing conditions.
- Request Form:
- Purpose: Enables participants to clearly state what they need, making it easier for others to fulfill these requests.
- Features: Fields for item description, quantity needed, preferred pickup/delivery method, and urgency level. Including an optional section for participants to share if they are comfortable with alternatives or variations of what they are requesting.
- Exchange Coordination Template:
- Purpose: Facilitates the organization of exchanges between participants, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
- Features: Spaces for listing the giver and receiver, items being exchanged, agreed-upon time and location for the exchange, and contact information (if necessary).
- Contact Template:
- Purpose: Helps maintain an organized list of participants who are open to being contacted for exchanges, including those offering specific skills or services.
- Features: Participant name, contact details (as per consent), types of items or services offered, and preferred times for contact.
- Safety Protocol Checklist:
- Purpose: Ensures that all exchanges meet health and safety standards, particularly important for food and perishable items.
- Features: Checklist items covering the safe handling and transportation of goods, guidelines for contactless exchanges, and reminders for health precautions.
- Feedback and Improvement Form:
- Purpose: Collects participant feedback on the exchange process, items received, and overall experience with "The Pantry."
- Features: Questions on satisfaction level, suggestions for improvement, and an option to report any concerns or issues.
- Community Bulletin Board (Digital or Physical):
- Purpose: Acts as a central place for participants to post offers, requests, and announcements, fostering a sense of community.
- Features: Sections for new offers, urgent requests, community messages, and upcoming events or meetings.
- Workshop and Skill-Share Tracker:
- Purpose: Organizes and promotes educational opportunities within "The Pantry" community, such as workshops or skill-sharing sessions.
- Features: Schedule of upcoming events, session descriptions, facilitator contacts, and registration details.
